Charlie's Story

My son Charlie was gifted a light blue teddy bear when he was born, which he named “Blue Bear”. Wherever Charlie was, Blue Bear was never far behind. When Charlie became unwell, his beloved Blue Bear was always close by, offering comfort and something familiar to hold and squeeze during the most difficult moments.

The loss of a child changes your life forever. I wanted to keep Charlie’s memory — and Blue Bear’s — alive by creating a traditional-style 20cm light blue teddy bear. A meaningful gift, a lasting keepsake, and truly a Bear for Life. These bears are made with the same super-soft, luxury feel as our Brown Bears, offering comfort when words aren’t enough.

Following the loss of our son, my husband and I established Thumbs Up for Charlie. As part of this ongoing mission, 10% of all profits from every Light Blue Bear sold are donated directly to the charity, helping to support families affected by childhood brain tumours.
